Luminox the Starscale

About Luminox

For centuries he watched from Dragon Race Island, waiting for a heart pure enough to form the sacred Soul Contract.

When young Petmo, still shy and feeling invisible, bravely entered the Soul Contract Altar during a storm to save an injured baby phoenix, Luminox felt her selfless light. He chose her instantly. Their bond is extremely rare: a permanent Soul Contract that allows Luminox to leave the island only when Petmo summons him. He is fiercely protective of her and all Starseeds she trains, but he still loves racing and showing off for worthy heroes.

Ancient, wise, and regal, yet surprisingly gentle and playful with those he has bonded with. Loyal beyond measure, slightly competitive only on the race track, and deeply amused by Petmo’s bubbly personality. He speaks rarely but his presence alone brings comfort and courage.

Massive, majestic white dragon with shimmering iridescent scales that glow soft blue-white. Long elegant horns wrapped in dark bands, huge glowing cyan-blue eyes full of ancient wisdom and playful warmth, fluffy white mane/spikes along the head and spine, powerful wings with soft pinkish inner membranes, and a long graceful tail. When fully powered, bright blue starfire energy flows from his mouth and chest. He towers over Petmo but is incredibly gentle with her, often lowering his head for pets or letting her ride on his neck.
