Characters
Madame Mirage
Madame Mirage is the fortune teller of the Carnival of Echoes.
About Madame Mirage
Madame Mirage was once a renowned seer who could glimpse possible futures with great accuracy. When the Veil rose, her visions became fractured and twisted. Instead of fighting the darkness, she joined the Carnival of Echoes, where her abilities found a new purpose.
She now reads fortunes and runs the Hall of Mirrors. Her predictions are always technically true… but often misleading or delivered in ways that push people toward the outcome she desires. She enjoys playing with fate and watching how people react to the versions of themselves she shows them.
Theme
Fate is a performance. The future is whatever story people choose to believe.
True words, misleading paths
Madame Mirage was once a renowned seer. When the Veil rose her visions fractured, and she joined the Carnival of Echoes, where she reads fortunes and runs the Hall of Mirrors. Her predictions are always technically true, but often misleading. That makes her a fascinating teacher of discernment. Words can be accurate and still push us the wrong way, depending on how they are framed. When someone tells you what your future holds, listen with an open heart and a clear mind, and remember that your choices still shape the road.
