Oracle cards are a friendly doorway into intuition. Unlike tarot, which follows a set structure, each oracle deck has its own theme and voice, so it is easy to begin with no study at all.
Getting to know your deck
Before your first reading, look slowly through every card. Notice the colors, the images and how each one makes you feel. Many people like to hold the deck for a moment, breathe, and set an intention such as "show me what I need to see today."
Clearing the deck
Shuffle a few times, knock gently on the stack, or rest the deck on a selenite plate overnight. Choose whatever ritual helps you feel the deck is fresh and ready.
A gentle three card pull
- Card one, where you are. What is present for you right now?
- Card two, what is asking for attention. What wants your care or curiosity?
- Card three, a next step. What small, kind action could you take?
Read the guidebook message, then close it and ask what the image says to you. Your own sense of the card matters most.
