Being in Beauty is the home of Pete Bengry, a UK based shamanic practitioner, sound therapist, composer, professional percussionist and international teacher who offers trainings in shamanism and sound healing, one to one healing sessions and mentoring, in person and online.
Meet Pete
Pete’s exploration of sound began around the age of five, experimenting with almost everything in his home. At ten he visited South Africa and saw Zulu drummers in the show Ipi Tombi, and when his uncle later sent him a drum from South Africa, it became his love, his life, his everything. He often played with his eyes closed, sensing with his hands, and that practice became the foundation of his work today and of his connection with shamanism.

Pete is also a composer and music producer, and he shares his music, writing and reflections through his website. Based in the UK and spending time in Mexico, a place he deeply loves, he is offering more of his work online so people anywhere can connect with him.
