Liv By Design Astrology is the Asheville, North Carolina practice of astrologer Liv Woodford, who has more than 30 years of experience as a professional astrologer. Her readings, classes, events and astro coaching are built around the idea that all nature is coded with design, and that your birth chart is a blueprint for your talents, challenges and life purpose.
Meet Liv
Astrology is a lifelong vocation for Liv. She is certified in Mythic Astrology with Wendy Ashley and in Fixed Star Astrology with Bernadette Brady, and she has studied Shamanic Astrology with Daniel Giamario and Chart Synthesis with Noel Tyl. She holds a BFA in Theatre Arts from Boston University and is a Certified Life Coach, and her years as an artist, storyteller, teacher and nonprofit administrator inform how she reads a chart. Her own love of astrology began with the night sky, learning the constellations as a child and feeling a bond with her ancestors under the same stars. Her approach is down to earth, warm and personable, looking for the root motivations behind a chart and offering practical next steps.
“Liv Woodford is as gifted an astrologer as they get. Her ability to translate what she understands for lay ears is precise, poetic and profound.”
K. Refoxo, Santa Barbara, CA
