About Cal

Cal was raised within Starry Wisdom Grove and showed an early gift for pattern recognition and memory. He was chosen as apprentice to the previous Keeper and eventually assumed full responsibility for the library. He has spent decades cataloguing, protecting, and occasionally sealing dangerous or incomplete records related to the Veil and the Guardians. The fall of the Dimmed Village and the loss of the Heart Arena weighed heavily on him, reinforcing his belief that knowledge must be handled with extreme care.

Personality

Cal is calm, precise, and deeply protective of knowledge. He believes some truths must be earned rather than freely given. At first he can appear reserved or even stern, but he is not cold. He simply carries the weight of what the library holds. He has a dry, understated sense of humor that surfaces with those he trusts. He is fiercely loyal to Starry Wisdom Grove and to Elder Veyra, and he respects Liora’s leadership even when he worries about the risks she takes.
