Elyon
Elyon is the Keeper of the First Phrases, also known as the Quiet Tongue.
He is the only one in the Bright Resistance Groves who teaches the first rank of the Tongue of the Ancients.
About Elyon
Elyon is a Star Touched Elf. He is ageless, though he appears to be in his mid to late twenties. His deep violet purple skin is dusted with soft glowing star freckles and faint constellation markings across his face, neck, and hands. He has long flowing white hair with thin, elegant braids woven with tiny crystal beads, striking golden eyes that hold a calm, ancient kindness, and pointed elf ears. He wears layered indigo and soft gold robes with translucent outer fabric, light thread embroidery, floating crystal ornaments, and a glowing crescent and star pendant at his chest. Thin golden rings of light sometimes orbit his wrists when he speaks the Tongue of the Ancients.
He is quiet, patient, and deeply present. He listens far more than he speaks, and when he does speak, his words feel deliberate and weighted. There is a gentle warmth in him, yet part of him always seems to be listening to the Beacon Tree and the light itself. He treats every student with the same quiet respect, regardless of rank or strength.

Elyon teaches the intention and structure of the Tongue. The language itself shapes to the speaker’s Inner Light, so the sound, tone, and light pattern of every speaker is uniquely their own.

The Starlight Beacon Tree
Elyon is almost always found at or near the base of the Starlight Beacon Tree, or standing in quiet communion with it. Players seeking the first keys of the Tongue of the Ancients come to him, and he can also be a quiet source of guidance or memory when the tree itself is responding to the player.
What he teaches
He does not sell common goods. He offers only the foundational phrases, the pure, simple structures that let a pure heart begin speaking light: a phrase to open the Soft Seal on pure light locks, a calming phrase that steadies mild fear or residual shadow pressure, a simple reading phrase for basic light language inscriptions, and guidance on how to listen for your own unique expression of the Tongue. He will not teach the higher ranks. Those must be earned through story, purity, and deeper connection.
