Characters
Flux
Flux is the cafeteria and lounge owner of The Nexus Ark and the heart of its crew morale.
She offers food, drinks, and a safe place to rest for anyone coming back from a hard mission.
About Flux
Flux is a warm and gentle looking young woman with long, wavy pink hair and prominent pointed elf ears. Her skin has a soft, pale glow with swirling patterns of light blue, pink, and teal energy that move gently across her arms, legs, and neck, and her large light blue eyes carry a naturally kind, welcoming expression. She wears a soft, flowing light brown wrap style dress with a small glowing lotus flower pin on her chest and practical brown boots.
She is warm, friendly, and naturally nurturing, with a talent for making people feel at ease, whether they are stressed after a mission or just need a quiet place to relax. She is a good listener and often gives gentle advice without being pushy. Kind and patient as she is, she is not afraid to be firm when someone is being difficult or disrespectful in her lounge.
Flux lives and works aboard The Nexus Ark. Her lounge and living quarters are designed to feel warm and comforting, with soft lighting, comfortable seating, and gentle background music.

The lounge on The Nexus Ark
Flux provides food, drinks, and a safe space for the crew to relax and recover emotionally. She is naturally attuned to emotional energy and can sense when someone is struggling, and she is good at reading people and knowing what they need, even when they do not say it. The food and drinks she makes have mild calming or energizing effects, and she is skilled at creating a peaceful atmosphere in her lounge.
She starts out focusing mostly on taking care of others. Over time, she learns to let the crew take care of her too when she needs support, and she becomes more open about her own needs and feelings. In her own words: “Food and rest fix more than people think.”
