Harlan Ren
Characters
Harlan Ren
Harlan Ren is part of The Starseed Chronicles cast.
Personality
Quiet, hardworking, and worn down. Harlan is not a fighter by nature. He tries to keep his head down, meet the demands of the Tax Hall, and protect his wife and children by enduring. He feels the pressure of every missed payment and every glance from Kragor’s enforcers. Though he rarely speaks of it, the fear of losing Tobin or Lina to the Slave Pits sits heavily on him. He leans on Mira’s quiet strength more than he admits.
The quiet weight of endurance
Harlan Ren is not a fighter. He keeps his head down, meets the demands of the Tax Hall, and tries to protect his wife Mira and children Tobin and Lina by enduring. He feels every missed payment and every glance from Kragor's enforcers, and he leans on Mira's quiet strength more than he admits. Harlan's page gives voice to many real parents carrying pressure silently. His story invites compassion for the tired adults around us, and a reminder that leaning on a partner or friend is not weakness. Endurance is easier when it is shared.
