Characters
Jax Riven
Jax Riven is a young star pilot in training aboard The Nexus Ark.
Mentored by Swift Foxveil, he is learning the ropes with real talent and growing courage.
About Jax Riven
Jax is a young, energetic pilot in his early twenties with a lean, athletic build, spiky messy blue hair, sharp bright green eyes, prominent pointed elf ears, and a confident, slightly cocky grin. He usually wears a black leather flight jacket with glowing blue accents, and he almost always has a pair of flight goggles pushed up on his forehead. His whole look gives off a cool, adventurous, slightly rebellious vibe.
He grew up on a busy space station and always dreamed of becoming a star pilot. He joined The Nexus Ark because it offered the best training and the most exciting missions. He lives aboard the ship, in quarters that are usually a bit messy, with flight manuals, snacks, and spare parts scattered around.
Jax is enthusiastic, bold, and a little cocky. He is eager to prove himself and loves the thrill of flying. He can be impulsive and sometimes talks before he thinks, but he has a good heart and is fiercely loyal to his teammates. He is still learning patience and discipline, yet he is quick to admit when he is wrong and works hard to improve.
Theme
One more run. I can do better.
Talent means nothing without discipline and heart. His story follows a young pilot who learns patience, teamwork, and responsibility through both successes and failures.
Try this today: Practice something today, even if you’re not great at it yet.
Pilot in training
Jax has a natural talent for piloting, quick reflexes, and a knack for thinking on his feet in high pressure situations. He is still developing discipline and strategic thinking, but he learns very quickly from both his successes and his mistakes. While he trains, he often gets assigned to smaller support missions, and he starts out as an overconfident, impulsive young pilot who wants to prove himself. Over time he grows into a reliable and skilled pilot.
He looks up to Swift Foxveil and wants to become a great pilot like him. In his own words: “Swift makes it look easy. I’ll get there.”
Jax and the wider cast
Characters whose pages connect with Jax: Swift Foxveil, his main mentor and someone he deeply admires. Aboard The Nexus Ark he also gets mission briefings and occasional lectures from Rax Sol, and advice, with the occasional scolding, from Steel in the workshop.
