Characters

Pip the Pocket Phantom

Pip the Pocket Phantom is part of The Starseed Chronicles cast.

About Pip

Pip is the ultimate Carnival gremlin. He runs several of the games and attractions, but he’s also an unapologetic pickpocket and trickster. He’s small, fast, incredibly nosy, and has sticky fingers. Despite being a constant nuisance, he’s weirdly likable. He’s funny, loyal in his own chaotic way, and has a strange code of honor (he mostly steals from people who “deserve it” or who can afford to lose a few coins).

No one knows his real background. He claims he was raised by carnival folk, shadow spirits, or possibly raccoons. He joined the Carnival because it’s the one place where his particular brand of chaos is not only tolerated but celebrated.

A strange code of honor

Pip is the ultimate Carnival gremlin. He runs games and attractions, picks pockets, and has sticky fingers, yet he is weirdly likable, funny, and loyal in his own chaotic way. He mostly steals from people who deserve it or who can afford to lose a few coins, and no one knows his real background. Pip is a fun character for discussing gray areas. Having a personal code matters, but stealing is still taking. His story invites kids to talk about fairness, honesty, and what it means to be loyal.
