The Gilded Invader / Ultimate Source of the Veil

Primary antagonist of The Starseed Chronicles. Responsible for the dimming of Aetheria and the multiverse's imbalance. Directly or indirectly behind every villain and dimmed area. He can appear at any given moment using psychic shadow control. Liora and the Alliance's ultimate goal is to defeat him and restore the light.

Backstory

Not merely corrupted by the Veil - he studied and weaponized it. He spreads a specific lie: "True light is something that can be owned, measured, and controlled." Using the Veil, he constructed the Gilded Dominion, a beautiful ordered empire built on illusion. He came to believe uncontrolled free will was the cause of all pain. He fell to the Veil while trying to save the world from the chaos the Veil creates.

Abilities

Veil of Forgotten Shadows. A realm-wide corrupting spell that dims inner light, induces forgetfulness, despair, and division. He can create portals, empower shadow minions, and use psychic shadow control.
