Celebrating the small win
Many people finish a task and immediately reach for the next one, without noticing what they just accomplished. Pause and notice the completion. You did the thing.
Receive the evidence. A finished email, a tidy drawer, or a hard conversation handled well are proof that you can follow through. Let that proof register before you move on.
Rest briefly before reaching for more. A small celebration, a cup of tea, a walk, a moment of satisfaction, helps your mind connect effort with reward and makes the next step easier.
Celebrate one completion a day
You finish a difficult task, and immediately move on to the next one without pausing. By the end of the day, you have accomplished a lot but feel like you have done nothing.
Each day this week, choose one completed task and take a moment to acknowledge it. Say to yourself, "I did that." Do something small to celebrate: a cup of tea, a stretch, a minute of quiet.
Notice how acknowledging small successes affects your motivation and mood. Celebrating completions helps your mind connect effort with satisfaction.

A simple rhythm to try
Here is the whole rhythm in three steps. First, notice the completion. Then receive the evidence. Finally, rest before reaching.
