Moon water is simply water set out under the moon with an intention. It is a sweet, simple ritual that connects you to the rhythm of the lunar cycle.
What you need
- A clean glass jar with a lid
- Fresh water
- A small note with your intention
How to make it
- On the night of the full moon, fill your jar and hold it for a moment.
- Speak or write your intention, such as "I welcome calm and clarity."
- Set the jar on a windowsill or outdoors where moonlight can reach it.
- Bring it in the next morning and close the lid.
Gentle ways to use moon water
Water your houseplants with it, add a splash to a cleaning cloth for your altar, or set the jar beside you as you journal. If you like to place crystals beside the jar, keep them outside the water.
