Black Sheep Gypsies is the home of Amanda Madden, an intuitive card reader who has been reading cards and offering guidance since 1986. Based in the Denver Metro area, she offers private readings in person and by phone or video call, teaches card reading, and is a trained White Time Healing practitioner.
Meet Amanda
Amanda learned to read playing cards from a Filipino woman she lovingly calls Momma Shirley. When Momma Shirley was a young girl, her great grandmother taught her to read playing cards while growing up in the Philippines, and she blessed Amanda by passing that knowledge on to her. Amanda tells the full story of Momma Shirley, the chicken and herself in her Gypsy Learning Center.
Founded on the belief that every individual has a unique journey and story to uncover, Black Sheep Gypsies embraces the unconventional and celebrates the diversity of beliefs and practices of all.
“Do good things, make good choices!”

The art of cartomancy
Cartomancy is Amanda’s favorite form of divination. It uses a standard poker deck of cards, and it has always spoken to her. She also reads traditional tarot cards, and she channels during readings, using the cards and your connected energy as the conduit to deepen the reading. Her readings offer insight, guidance and clarity on relationships, career and personal growth.
Ways to connect with Amanda
