Connie Lozano is a yoga teacher and sound therapist in San Antonio, Texas, and the heart behind Connie Lozano Yoga & Sound. She offers private, group and corporate yoga, meditation, sound baths, SUP Yoga and retreats, and every week she gathers her community for Sunday Ritual Yoga, Meditation and Soundbath.
Meet Connie
Connie began her yoga journey in a continuing education class in San Antonio, received her Hatha yoga certification at YogaYoga in Austin, and has been teaching full time since 1998. Her classes are described as innovative, transformative, challenging and compassionate, combining creatively sequenced asana with sound, pranayama and meditation, and she is known for balancing humor with the quest for authenticity. Her studies include Jyotish Vedic Astrology, and she shares Yogastrology in her weekly classes and international workshops. She has also trained as a Life Coach and Sound Therapist, offering sessions to individuals for personal development.
Her many trainings include crystal singing bowls, sound therapy with crystal bowls and gong, Holographic Sound Healing, Reiki, Kundalini Yoga, Core Strength Vinyasa, Anusara Prenatal Yoga, Aerial Yoga and Stand Up Paddle Yoga.

Sunday Ritual Yoga and Soundbath
Every Sunday at 10am, at 1115 S Alamo in San Antonio, Connie leads Sunday Ritual Yoga, Meditation and Soundbath. Doors open at 9:45am. The class weaves together yoga, meditation and breathwork, and closes with a sound bath of crystal bowls, chimes, drums and other sonic instruments, followed by a lavender savasana and Yogi Tea with the community on the patio. Her invitation is simple: connect, explore, balance, energize.
Ways to practice with Connie
- Weekly classes. Connie teaches public classes and workshops with Two Hearts Yoga in Olmos Park, Black Swan Yoga SA and Yoga Kurunta, including gentle yoga, meditation and sound on Monday evenings at Two Hearts.
- Sound Healing Experiences. Restful evenings with singing bowls at Two Hearts Yoga Studio, with upcoming dates on November 15 and December 13 at 5:30pm. Reservations by call or text.
- Private sessions and events. Personal yoga, meditation, sound baths and Reiki in your home, office or event space, for new and experienced students alike.
- YouTube. Short yoga flows and meditations on the Connie Lozano Yoga channel.
SUP Yoga on Boerne Lake
Now celebrating its 10th season, Connie's SUP Yoga takes the practice onto the water at Boerne Lake in the Texas Hill Country. The paddle board becomes your mat, with elements of vinyasa flow and breathing designed to balance you on and off the board, and a relaxing savasana to close. Hill Country Paddle Sports provides all the equipment. Classes are for adults who know how to swim, and reservations are required.
