Crystal Empire Gems is a family owned crystal and jewelry shop on Mill Street in Grass Valley, California, run by James and Deborah Hill since October 2015. They offer ethically sourced crystals and minerals, handmade jewelry and metaphysical treasures from around the world.
Meet James and Deborah
It all started with a shared fascination for the beauty hidden beneath the earth's surface. James is a silversmith with over 20 years of experience, and Deborah is a rock enthusiast with a passion for crystals. Together they built a space where geology meets craft. Their two boys, Azurite and Malachite, are growing up surrounded by the wonder of the natural world, and the family are proud members of the Nevada County Gem and Mineral Society.

- Handmade jewelry. Rings, pendants, earrings and bracelets in sterling silver and gold, crafted by hand.

- Private appointments. Crystal consultations, custom design sessions, private shopping and a session on how to cleanse and charge your crystals.
