House of Guru Ram Das is a Kundalini yoga and meditation space in downtown Santa Ana, California, led by teacher Ram Dass Bir Singh Khalsa. Its teacher invites you to come to class in what his website calls “a casual cozy environment among friends.”

I wanted to share a cause close to my heart. After a fire caused major damage to House of Guru Ram Das, the community is coming together to support its restoration. This space has been a place of learning and healing for over 40 years.
The community has already done a great deal of work to bring the space back, and there is still more to do. Even if you can't donate right now, sharing this can help spread the word and bring more support to rebuild this sacred space.

Meet the teacher
Ram Dass Bir Singh Khalsa says he has been teaching yoga and meditation, and studying under Yogi Bhajan, since 1972. He is a certified instructor with the Kundalini Research Institute (K.R.I.). Before yoga, he writes, he was drawn to hypnosis, parapsychology and metaphysics, and over the years he has explored many forms of yoga, exercise, meditation, Ayurveda, herbs and holistic practice.

What you will find there
- Kundalini yoga and meditation classes. A practice that brings together breathwork, mantra, movement and meditation, taught in a welcoming setting.
- Evening classes. Classes are usually held on Wednesdays and first Saturdays at 7:30 PM, $20, in downtown Santa Ana. Please check their Instagram for current class and ceremony times.
- Ceremonies with friends. The space usually hosts Sunday 10 AM ceremonies with Viva Kambo Tribe, a fellow Light Network member who holds gatherings there.
