Edward Maesen offers sound sessions in Mount Shasta, California, using his voice and a room full of acoustic instruments to help people enter a state of harmony, peace and Stillness. His sessions have been described as “galactic shamanism” and “celestial initiation,” and they are offered by donation so anyone can come.

Meet Edward

From an early age Edward has been aware of the multi dimensionality of his being and found refuge in the Stillness Within. Since 1992 he has aimed to help others discover, understand and live their life’s purpose and expand their awareness. With over thirty years in the healing arts, he studied many modalities, then let them all go and developed his own method rooted in his mystical way of life.

He describes himself as an intuitive, sensitive physicist who holds a balance between head and heart, between sensing and knowing, between masculine and feminine. Now retired from the corporate world, he shares what people have long told him is a unique and special gift.

“Let the sounds guide you into the Stillness. Enter the Kingdom Within. And Be Love.”

Edward’s approach is not through many words, but through the unspoken sensing realm of sound. As you rest on a pad on the floor, he plays a variety of acoustic instruments around you and sings intuitive songs. During the session he is in meditation, listening inward, and he vocalizes true essence, so each song is a reflection of the true You. Every session is unique and guided by the moment.

For Edward, the sounds are a vehicle. Sound, as it ebbs away, leads to silence, silence opens the door to Stillness, and from Stillness arises the realization of our perfect Self. He sees himself simply as a facilitator.

His instruments include the human voice, didgeridoo, shamanic drum, solfeggio tuning pipes, tongue drums, handpan, crystal bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, bells, rattles, chimes, a vintage Japanese gong, an OceanHarp, a Cithura monochord and tube bells.
