Dr. JoAnne Dodgson guides ceremony, retreats and community gatherings from Santa Fe, New Mexico, to support personal and collective healing as we build the bridge to heart centered ways of living. Her invitation is simple and deep: awaken the callings of your heart and live in balance with yourself, one another, the earth and all life.
Meet JoAnne
For twenty five years JoAnne has been learning and living the path of the kala keh nah seh, a storytelling tradition and ceremonial way of life rooted in ka ta see, an ancestral lineage whose elders traveled from the Eastern Andes to North America in the 1970s to share their ways. She shares these ceremonial ways with permission from lineage carriers.
JoAnne holds a doctorate in Counseling Psychology with a specialty in Holistic Health, and has served as a therapist, community activist, college faculty member, teacher and director of a women’s shelter. She lives in New Mexico, called there by the spirit of the land, with deep respect for the Original Peoples and ancestral lineages of those lands.

Ceremony and story
JoAnne offers Cacao Ceremony for individuals and groups, honoring cacao as sacred food and a gift of the Tree of Life, with a cacao elixir prepared just for you. Her Song Ceremony invites you to remember your Song, which the elders describe as your natural way of being and the knowing of who you really are. She is also the author of Spirit of Chocolate: A Woman’s Journey to the Rainforest in Search of Her Dreams and UnLeashing Love.
