Sound Meditations brings sound baths with guided meditation to the Bondi Pavilion in Sydney, Australia. Sally Phillips Paridis, a sound bath meditation guide, invites people to lie down, listen to overtone rich instruments and give themselves permission to relax.

Meet Sally

Sally says a love of sound and music is hard wired into her DNA. With a career spanning more than four decades and two continents, she recently returned to Australia after thirty years in New York, and her work is devoted to the art of conscious listening, helping people experience sound not only as something heard but as something deeply felt.

Her path began with a foundation in Law at Sydney University and Science and Sustainability at Columbia University, and her lifelong fascination with vibration led her to study the Physics of Music at Juilliard. She went on to nearly two decades of study into the Human Energy Field and Women’s Mysteries, learning under lineage holders of Barbara Brennan and the late Jeanine Parvati Baker. Most recently she completed an advanced course in cymatics with acoustic physics scientist John Stuart Reid, and these principles are woven into her signature sound and voice guided meditations.

Sound Meditations

What Sally offers

  • Sound bath meditation. A guided meditation that helps you settle into the body, followed by a gentle, restorative sound bath for an inner journey toward centered rest.
  • Guided chakra sound baths. Sally’s signature session, a sound bath with crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, tuning forks and chimes, interwoven with a guided meditation through the seven major chakra centers.
  • Sound and gong baths. A full body sonic journey with bowls, chimes, rattles and the gong, which is played for at least a third of the session.
  • Breath work and sound. Breath work exercises lead into an immersive soundscape of singing bowls, chimes and overtone instruments.
  • Sacred feminine sessions. Sound baths with guided meditation celebrating female wisdom and the different phases of a woman’s life.
  • Private, corporate and gift sessions. Private sessions with Sally, corporate wellness soundscape events for teams, and sessions you can give as a holiday or birthday gift.
