Lord Caelum

Characters
Lord Caelum is a fallen noble of the Hollow Court and the Guardian of the Threshold.
He is guarded and slow to trust, but he still refuses to kneel.
Caelum is a high elf of the noble Court bloodline, partly faded by the Veil. He is tall and elegant, with long silver white hair worn loose or in a refined half up style, and sharp, weary blue gray eyes that have seen too much and trust too little. He wears ornate but heavily weathered teal and faded gold noble robes and a high collared cloak, cracked and torn from years of resistance, with soft cyan runes still glowing faintly along the seams. He carries an ornate staff topped with a large glowing cyan crystal, both weapon and symbol of the authority he still claims.
He is reserved, watchful, and deeply weary. He is not cruel, but he is guarded, because he has watched too many hopes fail. Beneath the caution is a stubborn core of nobility, and when he chooses to help, he does so with quiet intensity rather than grand speeches.

Even a broken noble can still refuse to kneel.Infused Lights
Caelum carries the weight of a realm that broke while he still stood inside it, and he keeps standing anyway.

Caelum was a high ranking noble of the old Hollow Court, known for his steadiness and loyalty to the realm’s original light. When the Veil rose and the Court fractured, most of the nobility fled, fell, or accepted the terms of Zor. Caelum did neither. He remained, protecting what fragments of the old order he could.

He is the first living voice of the Court that many heroes encounter, watching new arrivals at the Mirror Courtyard. He tests those who enter, measuring whether they carry real light or merely another form of ambition. If the heroes prove they seek restoration rather than conquest, he can become one of the most valuable allies in the Court, a living link to what the Hollow Court once was and still could be. He can appear later near the Cracked Throne Hall as the conflict with Zor and Veyla intensifies.
Years of isolation have left him cautious and less resilient than he once was. Strong Veil corruption or the full power of Zor can force him to retreat, and his hesitation can cost critical moments.
