Rorik
Starseed Chronicles
Rorik
Root Trainer · Unity Training Clearing, Bright Resistance Groves
About Rorik
A mountain elf of the same lineage as Torin. He came down from the high peaks years ago after the shadow forces began pressing harder against the outer defenses of Aetheria. Rather than return to the isolation of the mountains, he chose to stay and harden the next generation of defenders.
He holds the Root position in the Unity Training Clearing, the foundation that the other elemental styles build upon. Without a solid Root, the rest of the training collapses.
Personality
Quiet, steady, and unshakable. Rorik does not waste words. He teaches by pressure and example rather than long speeches. When he does speak, it is direct and purposeful. He respects effort more than natural talent and has little patience for flashy showboating.
Deeply protective of the clearing and the younger fighters who train there. He will stand in front of anyone under his watch without hesitation.
A solid foundation first
Rorik is a mountain elf of the same lineage as Torin. He came down from the high peaks when shadow forces pressed against Aetheria's outer defenses and chose to stay and harden the next generation. He holds the Root position in the Unity Training Clearing, the foundation every other style builds upon. Iris says Rorik teaches how to hold ground, and Kaida shares a calm respect with him. Rorik's teaching applies to any goal: build the foundation before the flourish. Steady basics make everything else possible.
