About
Ancient Mountain Elf of Terravale. Guardian. Father. Braid, beard, blue-rune sword, a shard at his throat that is not jewelry. He is the one the others stand behind when the ground starts lying. He can laugh at the Inn arcade. He cannot laugh at a lie.
Backstory
He had a cabin, a wife, a son. The Veil asked for a price. Elowen paid in a way that left Torin holding memory instead of a hand. Their boy Rylor's light is still tender. Torin fights so that child grows up on ground that holds. He was called into the Alliance as a pure soul. He trains in the high peaks. He is the finish to fights that start too fast. Deceivers hate him for a simple reason. He will not pretend. There is a slow fire ahead of him. He is not ready on page one. That is the point.
Abilities
Anchor Truth. Roots, shields, a wave of honesty that cracks illusion. A sword that burns blue when he means it. A stillness that makes other people braver.
Quote
No lie can break what is anchored in honesty.
Honesty holds the ground
Torin is an Ancient Mountain Elf of Terravale, Truth Anchor and Warrior Guardian of the Alliance, and single father to Rylor, whose light is fading. He is the one the others stand behind when the ground starts lying, and he grew up forging beside his blood brother Forgar. He can laugh at the Inn arcade, but he cannot laugh at a lie. Torin's theme is honesty defeats deceit, and the Virtue Wheel names Honesty over Deception. His practice is simple and strong: anchor honesty by speaking truth today.
