Sharing your changes
Change can feel fragile when kept private. Sharing your intentions with a trusted friend, mentor, or group can provide encouragement and accountability.
Choose witnesses who support your growth and respect your pace. Share small milestones and challenges along the way.
A witness can help you notice progress you might miss and remind you of your goals when motivation dips. Change often feels more real when someone else sees it.
Choose an accountability partner
You decide to cut back on spending, start a creative practice, or change how you respond to stress. Alone, the intention fades within a couple of weeks, and no one notices.
Choose one trusted person and tell them about a change you are making. Ask if they would be willing to check in with you once a week for a month. Share both progress and struggles honestly.
At the end of the month, notice how having a witness affected your commitment. A supportive witness can help you see progress you might miss and keep going when motivation dips.
