Small steps without the full map

You do not need to know the whole path to take the next step. Waiting for complete certainty can keep you stuck in planning forever.

Treat the next step as an experiment. Take a class before changing careers, have one conversation before making a big decision, try a new routine for two weeks before committing to it.

Each step teaches you something. The path becomes clearer by walking it, and you can always adjust direction based on what you learn.

Try a small experiment

You are considering a career change but feel overwhelmed by the idea of quitting your job and starting over. The decision feels so big that you cannot take any step at all.

Choose one small experiment related to the change: take an evening class, talk with someone in the field, volunteer for a weekend. Treat it as information gathering, not a final commitment.

After the experiment, reflect on what you learned. Small steps can clarify big decisions, and each one reveals a little more of the path ahead.

You do not need the full map to take the next aligned step.
