Good Vibrations Reiki and More is the Las Vegas practice of Patricia Calandra, a Reiki Master Teacher and Holy Fire practitioner. Her own words for the work are simple: healing energy to balance the mind, body and soul. Patricia is not a medical doctor, and her sessions are an energy and wellness practice, not medical care.
From the classroom to Reiki
Patricia spent many years as an educator before she retired from the classroom. She had watched how ongoing stress weighs on children, families and the people who care for them, including teachers giving so much of themselves. When she left the classroom, the work did not end. It evolved.
Today she teaches wellness classes for children and adults, and she offers Reiki as one of the practices within that work. Her approach brings together breath, mindfulness and Reiki, with tools people can use in ordinary life.
Reiki sessions
Patricia practices Usui Reiki, a gentle Japanese energy practice, along with Holy Fire. A session can be in person or remote. You stay fully clothed, in low light with gentle music, while she works with the energy through a light touch or with her hands just above the body. Depending on the session, she also brings in crystals and sound.
She offers sessions of several lengths, a shorter Reiki session for children 14 and under, and crystal grid work for setting an intention for someone you care about. Gift cards are available for anyone who wants to pass along a little rest.
Calm and Confidence for children
Patricia also facilitates Calm & Confidence, a small group wellness program for children ages 7 to 12. Drawing on her background as an educator and a Reiki Master Teacher, she helps children practice breathing, gentle movement, music, creative activities and simple conversations about feelings. The idea is that calm and confidence are skills they can practice, then carry with them at home, at school and with friends.

She teaches children simple Reiki tools they can use in those same everyday places. The program has been offered as a Saturday series at the Centennial Hills YMCA in Las Vegas.
Learning Reiki
For adults who want to learn, Patricia teaches Reiki certification classes, including Holy Fire III. The first level focuses on self practice. Further levels prepare practitioners to offer Reiki to others, and the Master Teacher training is for people who feel called to guide and teach.
