Soren
Keeper of The Whispering Cup · Woodland Marketplace
About Soren
Soren is the still center of the Woodland Marketplace. While others restore light, prepare the body, or strengthen the tools that carry flame, Soren creates the space where people are finally allowed to set their hearts down. His tea house, The Whispering Cup, is one of the few places where the noise of the resistance softens and people remember they are allowed to rest.
He does not push conversation. He simply prepares the tea, sits with the silence, and listens when someone is ready to speak. Many leave his shop lighter than when they entered, even if they never said a word.
He carries a quiet, old sadness of his own, but he never forces it on anyone. He simply keeps the door open.
Theme
Some wounds only heal when they are finally allowed to be spoken.
His story teaches that resistance is not only fought with light and blades. Sometimes it is kept alive by giving people a place to set their burdens down without judgment.
