Annie Fitzgerald is a classically trained vocalist, award winning singer songwriter and sound therapist in the Minneapolis area. She weaves her voice, crystal bowls and gongs into Reiki infused sound journeys, and she trains new sound healers through Soul Sound & Soma, the certification program she cofounded.
Meet Annie
Annie’s deep connection with sound began in the body. A School of Music Scholar, she earned her degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Minnesota, sang in musical theatre at the Ordway Center and Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, then moved to New York City, where she was honored by the Songwriters Hall of Fame as an artist to watch. Back home in Minnesota, her songs are regularly featured on The Current.
Sound and energy healing come together in Annie’s work, infused with Reiki and shamanic ways of working with sound. Her lineage includes Three Trees, creator of SoulMonic Sound Healing, and she is also a Reiki Master and Transformational Astrologer.

Soul Sound & Soma
Annie and her cofounder Dawn Marian, a Reiki Master Teacher and Akashic Records trainer, lead Soul Sound & Soma, a soul centered sound healing certification program. It weaves together quantum energy healing tools, somatic awareness, intuitive development, mentorship and ceremonial practice, blending ancient wisdom with modern modalities for anyone called to step into this work. Level 1, Foundations of Sound Healing, is offered as a weekend intensive in Minnetonka.
Music
Annie’s music is a blend of alternative folk and Americana with a mystical, heartfelt depth. Her single Anam Cara was on the ballot for The Current’s Top 89 Songs of 2023, and her newer releases include If I Go, I’m Goin’ and her cover of Emmylou Harris’s Prayer in Open D.
“Annie orchestrates the whole process like an angelic conductor.”
